Firefighter Birthday Party!

At some point in their life, every little boy wants to be a firefighter. Between the flashing lights, trusty Dalmatian sidekick, and the hook and ladder truck--it's no wonder that being a fireman is the job of choice for many heroic boys. While many fire academies aren't accepting applications from preschoolers, we wanted to help Warner's mom give her birthday boy the chance to be fire chief for the day. With the help of a Nico and Lala invitation and some swanky party swag, Sloane made every guest feel like they were suiting up to fight a real fire. Stop, drop, and roll into this fun firefighter birthday party!!

Fire extinguisher water bottle labels...so adorable!
The birthday boy (and his guests) even got to sit in a real fire truck--so cool!!!
Thanks again to Sloane for letting us help make Warner's firefighter birthday party a success!

Bow Tie Baby Shower

What's the best way to celebrate a soon-to-be born Southern gentleman?! Throw him a bow tie baby shower, of course! One of our favorites, Julie Bea (who is both super creative and a party throwing extraordinaire), threw this bow tie baby shower in honor of her sister-in law, Becca, and baby Mac! Julie turned their family lake house into blue and white bow tie heaven, playing off of our sweet invitation. Check out the bow-tiful invitation below, which is filled with navy and white stripes, blue gingham, and of course...monogrammed bow ties!!

Now onto the party itself!! This party is brimming with Nico and Lala party goodies including popcorn stickers, champagne labels, welcome signs, bow tie picture props, and more!!
Swag bag for baby Mac!! This sweet basket was brimming with goodies for the southern gentleman including personalized stationery, diaper bag tags, calling cards, and a "baby is sleeping" sign!
Isn't this the cutest bow tie baby shower you've ever seen?!!

Thing We Heart: February Edition

Happy February!! We are feeling the love, and in that spirit...we want to share the things we heart:
1. New N&L Patterns: We have some very exciting news to share...we're coming out with swanky new patterns for our iPhone/iPad cases + our lucite line!! We are obsessed, and can't wait to share with y'all! Watch for the unveiling of our new patterns in the next few weeks. Until then, enjoy the sneak peek!

2. New Website: Our website underwent a bit of a makeover--out with the pink and turquoise, and bring on the black and gold!! We're continuing to update our website every day including more real weddings, new bride information, and more party galleries!!

3. Surviving Winter Weather: Over the New Year, we took a trip out to Vail, and before we went, we stocked up on our winter weather gear. One of our favorite purchases--Lala's Sorel Boots. Not only did they keep her warm in Vail, they've helped us survive Chiberia and the many snow storms we've endured since then!

4. Summer House Santa Monica: It's restaurant week!! Each year, hundreds of Chicago restaurants open their doors to foodies all across the city who have been waiting to experience their menu all year. We've taken full advantage of this fun week, and have been celebrating with delicious restaurants all across the city! One of our absolute favorites is the newly opened Summer House Santa Monica. We dined on goodies ranging from fresh buratta and golden beet & goat cheese salad, to a delicious apple pie cookie for desert.

Custom Wedding Websites

It's no secret that we LOVE our brides!! We're always looking for the new ways to give our couples the most custom and amazing wedding day possible--which led to our recent surge in creating custom wedding websites! Most brides choose to create some kind of wedding website, featuring easily accessible information about their big day. So we thought to ourselves...why not offer our brides a way to make these usually bland and boring websites coordinate with the rest of their big day?! They're a great way to further personalize your wedding experience, and really brand your wedding from beginning to end.

So what exactly goes onto a wedding website? Whatever you want!! From start to finish, we work with you regarding everything from the website design, to information you'd like included! Our websites can contain as little or as much information as you'd wish. Do you have a lot of out of town guests attending your wedding? Fill your website with travel information, hotel accommodations, and local activities! Wedding websites are also a great way to introduce your bridal party, showcase engagement pictures, and list your wedding registry.

First up, Michelle and Kevin!! This sweet couple is getting married in Chicago this summer (and at the super swanky Trump Tower). Their stunning tri-fold save the date inspired the design for their wedding website--check them both out below!!

To further personalize her wedding, we also designed Michelle a custom iPhone case with her wedding logo that matches both her save the dates AND wedding website!!

Recently, we also created a wedding website for Claire and Chris. Gaining inspiration from their red and gold-foil save the date (which also included a pretty snowflake), we turned their wedding website into a gold winter wonderland!

Our last couple, Colin and Steve, chose cool blues and a preppy trellis pattern to personalize their website!
