We're going down south today for a swanky monogrammed wedding. Last December, Lauren and Brian tied the knot at the Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club just outside Atlanta. With its magnificent expanse of hunting grounds and picture perfect amenities, the club was the perfect backdrop for Lauren and Brian's winter wonderland wedding!
Drawing inspiration from the club's preppy and masculine feel, we created pieces that held a Ralph Lauren, lodge feel. Starting with their save the date, we incorporated one of the couple's (several) custom wedding monograms at the top. We also added a traditional plaid lined envelope, because nothing says southern and preppy wedding like plaid! Many times couples with weddings close to Christmas choose to incorporate red into their big day, but Lauren and Brian wanted something different, and we fully supported the hunting lodge look over the metallics and poinsettias.
Lauren and Brian's letterpressed wedding invitations represent everything good about this hunting lodge wedding venue and reception. When guests opened the plaid lined envelopes, you just couldn't help but think of dark wood and a Ralph Lauren-esque club setting. The bride and groom couldn't choose which custom wedding monogram they liked best, so they chose to use all three monograms in their invitation suite. While many couples often choose a lettered monogram, we like to go above and beyond and add in other elements that are a reflection of their big day. In this case, we had to use the oh so trendy fox; after all it WAS held at the Foxhall Resort and Hunting Club. Enjoy this elaborate and impeccably branded monogrammed Southern wedding! And remember...just because it's a winter wedding, doesn't mean you have to use red!
