Nautical Save the Dates

Happy day from finally a little warmer Chicago! You know what they say about Chicago...the summers are so great, it makes you forget how bad the winter was. I guess that means that this summer will be FANTASTIC! Ha! As you may know, we had our big Derby event last weekend and it was a total success. We still have not been to the actual Kentucky Derby...that is a little bit of a bucket list for us. What's not to love about a sporting event where you get dressed up, wear hats, and the gentlemen are in seersucker and bow ties? Right up our alley!!

The sun is shining, and after our recent trip down to Miami, all we can think about are boats, the beach, and summer vacation! We thought it would be a great time to share some of our favorite maritime inspired save the dates! It seems many of our clients (as do we) have an affinity for anchors, preppy navy and white, and all things nautical! 

With the save the date being the first thing your guests will receive, it is an important aspect of setting the tone of your wedding. Save the dates are also where you can have a little more fun and be playful and creative, while the wedding invitation tends to be more formal.
