Summer Chic Engagement Party

Hey y'all!!

And we're back...from ACK! We took a small blogging break over the past week, as it's been quite busy in our studio! We've been working on swag for two gorgeous weddings--one here in Chicago, and the other in Texas. Both weddings were beautiful; we can't wait to share pics! N&L also just got back from a trip of a lifetime to Nantucket! We got to fully experience everything the island has to offer, see the sites, and met up with some amazing wedding friends from the island! We even got to have a little photoshoot fun with Zofia of Zofia & Co. Photography! We just got our pictures back this morning....we are OBSESSED!! We can't wait to share them with y'all, and put our swanky new pictures up on our website. Keep your eyes peeled for a blog post detailing our trip SOON!!

Today we have a picture perfect engagement party to share!! We teamed up with party planner extraordinaire Dori Waller of The Social Office to create an engagement party under the stars in honor of Sara and Jeremy. We recently helped the pair create a nautical save the date, which was die-cut and featured their custom wedding monogram. Their monogram included an anchor, which paid homage to the groom's career in the navy.

While the pair aren't officially tying the knot until October, their close friends wanted to throw them a summertime engagement party. Using both the couple's wedding colors and their nautical wedding monogram, we helped Dori create the perfect event to celebrate Sara and Jeremy's engagement. While the event came together perfectly, our favorite touches included the ice cream bar and an ice sculpture in the shape of their wedding monogram! So fun and creative!

The couple's engagement party invitation. It included their wedding colors, as well as a fun pattern!
Sara and Jeremy's ice cream bar! Not only did it include every topping you could imagine, but we also helped create custom ice cream bowls, spoons, and napkins!

Guests were asked to leave wishes for the couple, which were then tied to a net! Cutest nautical keepsake for the couple!
At the end of the night, guests took home love knots.
Cheers to the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs! Keep your eyes out for our blog post covering our trip to Nantucket!! Need more engagement party inspiration? Check out Claire and Chris' nautical engagement party!
