Lauren and Phil tied the knot earlier this summer in a picture perfect wedding held on the island of Nantucket. These British expats, who currently reside in New York City, brought their friends and family across the pond for a fun-filled Nantucket destination wedding! Their wedding was the perfect mix of coral and mint colors, nautical accents, laidback elegance, and the most beautiful florals we've seen in a long time! Take a peek at this Galley Beach destination wedding that takes our breath away!
For any good destination wedding, the bride and groom use their wedding invitation to get their guests really excited about traveling for their big day. Lauren and Phil were no exception! Their destination wedding invitations came tucked inside a folder, which was wrapped in mint green twine to give their packet an extra special touch. A proper Nantucket wedding invitation wouldn't be complete without a subtle nautical touch, so we added a rope pattern to their envelope liner.
Lauren and Phil's wedding invitation was printed using mint green and coral letterpress, and was mounted to the top portion of their wedding packet. We love the rope border surrounding their square invitation!
Tucked inside the pocket at the bottom of their wedding packet was their reply card and a custom map of Nantucket. The trifold map detailed the different wedding locations of the weekend's activities, and also included an itinerary for wedding guests on the opposite side. A really fun touch for their destination wedding guests!
For Lauren and Phil's wedding, all of their guests traveled to the island, with some traveling across the Atlantic Ocean to celebrate their big day. So the couple wanted to gift their guests with an extra special wedding welcome bag! Inside their wedding welcome bag was a wedding hangover kit and a weekend itinerary, which listed out different things for guests to do during their visit to Nantucket.
Since Lauren and Phil's ceremony was held at Galley Beach, we created fan programs! Love this idea for outdoor ceremonies.
One of our favorite elements of Lauren and Phil's wedding was their unique mint green and coral wedding colors. Inspired by the bridesmaids' Joanna August dresses, Lauren wanted everything for the wedding to coordinate with the mint green color. Mint and coral is such a unique (and awesome!) twist on the traditional navy and coral colorway for Nantucket weddings. We love that it still exudes a very beachy and nautical feel, with a twist!
Before the couple's reception began, they had an amazing cocktail hour which included the bride and groom's signature cocktails. His favorite? A Manhattan mojito! Her favorite was a classic London Pimms, yum!
The couple named their tables after different New York City landmarks. Such a creative idea!
We had so much fun working with this sweet couple! Congratulations to Lauren and Phil!!
